Similar story. Bought a Craigslist item, seller said they were out of town but loved the NAT service... Sent me to their site to sign in. I googled them, checked blogs and obviously the postings were fake. I sent the money and no item. I've bought other vehicles and travel trailers online and had to wire the money because a credit card transaction can be reversed... So, I got caught when they first set it up. Three days after I sent the money the postings started showing up. I've reported it to the FTC, etc. And will call Barklays. FYI, the last victim had a web url set up in his name so putting a fraud alert on your accounts may be wise.
