After we talked to Karen Murphy (of CTS agency) I also saw an ad regarding the same time frame for the cruise however the land portion offered a lot more amenities, including meals. When we inquired to Karen about this she said that whatever that tour was getting we would also get. Why this is so important is because if we had received correct information we would have had plenty of time to cancel with "Complete Travel Service" without any loss to our down payment and book with the other tour. We did not for two reasons, both of which were unfounded:
1. We would get the same package (we are not we get no additional amenities) and 2. We stayed because we were going to have an escorted trip, which well into the time frame we were informed it was not going to be escorted. This left us too late in the booking to be able to cancel. We would have lost quite abit of money, and this trip already is costing us more than the one with all the amenities.
All along we had gotten either bad, or no information regarding this trip, to the point we are so upset about this whole adventure that we are not looking forward to it any longer. We never got return calls for our questions unless we had to re-call and again wait for answers, which never came or when they did come were incorrect.
I would never recommend this agency to anyone. They do not know what they are doing and once they get your money they drop you like a hot potato. I will tell anyone and everyone about their inaptitude and lack of concern for giving good service. We have dealt with other travel companies and have had great results and not any of these problems. I am 68 years old and never in my lifetime had to write to the Better Bussiness Bureau for any reason and this qualifies for a notification to your agency so others will not suffer as we have.
