Our local consumer advocate suggested we check out AT&T complaints on the net before purchasing. I was really surprised at all the negative stuff. I got Uverse installed when it was first available in our neighborhood (three years ago) and have never had an issue either with the quality reception or billing. Perhaps I'm just lucky and they've changed their policies since then. That's a shame.
