BBU Interservices
Ripped off my Checking Account

I got online to balance my checking account, and i noticed a check number that did not correspond with my check numbers.

I clicked to view the actual check and i was stunned. This check had my account number, and my name on it. But the address was not mine, nor was the check number.

It was for the amount of $29.95 to a BBU Interservices. I had never heard of this so i immediatley called my bank. I had to go down their and sign some papers so that they can return the check.

Then i went to the police department and filled a fraud report. Then back to the bank with the case number to close my account and open a new one. What a bunch of mess, but my bank was very supportive.
