During my brief employment with NOW Property preservation (approx 3 months), when the company first started, business dealings, and Sam and Dana themselves were extremely strange. My wife and I actually traveled to meet Dana and Sam at the office complex in Farmington Hills. The office, and the fact that Sam "owned" it, and was actively involved with the Sessi Law firm, made him seem like he was on the up and up. I was offered an opportunity to grow with this new company, which had a strong financial backing.
Needless to say, it sounded great, working in the office, using my computer and construction background, and I was excited. This also required me to commute from Northern Michigan, and stay at a friends home during the week. Whatever it took, I wanted NOW to become successful. I immediately hit it off with Mark Sulaka, the builder whom Sam had brought in to obtain all necessary licensing. Great guy, and we are friends till this day. I also liked Pat, the security guard. We all wanted this to succeed.
Within the first week, I started to sense Sam and Dana were a little strange. But so goes with wealthy people sometimes (not Dana, she's poor, and the reasoning is obvious). Sam would pay priests, or whatever to bless him, (not kidding, this he could afford, yet payed me very little, if at all, because he didn't want to dip into his personal fortune to cover wages, as soon we would be extremely successful). I'm not stupid, and didn't play into the "riches" line, I just needed a job. I also began to see how Sam was prone to strange outbursts, and vicious personal attacks. He kept saying his former business partner, Helana Thomas was out to get him. One night while pulling an all nighter at the office, I found a note, supposedly from Helena to Sam, saying how sorry she was that she had stolen a bunch of money from the former business, and how she was sorry for ruining Sam's life. It was in Dana's handwriting, and was written on a pad of paper, and the pen indentations were still left on the next sheet.
As the next few weeks transpired, Sam and Dana's behavior continued to go down hill. Drinking in the office was encouraged. Dana would lie to Safegaurd, and other NOW clients on the phone in my presence. Then, my vehicle was being used as transportation for property preservation, along with my tools, some of which have never been returned.instead of being in the office, and conducting inspections, I was now securing homes, and cutting lawns.in one case, Sam had taken a pill, and was totally out of it in Pontiac, he mowed the grass twice, and more bizarre than ever. Pat the security guard and I just looked at each other. I was not being compensated for the use of my equipment either.
Sam and I began to but heads more and more. He kept trying to get me to exaggerate damages within homes, and in some cases asked me to create damage (none of which I did, and this had signaled the beginning of the end). At this point I had not been fairly compensated. Then the straw that broke the camels back, after all licensing had gone through, he asked Mark Sulaka to leave thbuilding, as he was no longer needed, and if anything was said, his lawyer (who he uses to threaten people) would "make his life a living hell". I left with Mark, I would surely have been next. Sam then started to tell contractors Mark had run off with all the money, and gave the contractor's Mark's phone number and address, and the threats and calls started. This is not hearsay, as I was there. I have an email proving this, for anyone interested.
Sam Sessi and Dana, are liars, and scam artists, this is not slander, as I was there to see it. They have not only ripped off the contractors, but also their clients.
