I applied for a payday loan via the internet on 11/11 and for some reason never received one. I then began to receive calls from various companies about the loan that I never received. I advised the individuals calling that I didn't have a pay day loan over and over again. Finally after a couple of weeks the calls stopped.
On 12/28 I noticed a debit to my checking account in the amount of 30.00. I wrote down the company name (Safe National) and the 800 number and called it. I got the voice mail for customer service and left a voice mail. The next day after not receiving a call back from Safe National, I called them.
The woman from Safe National advised me that the debit from my account was for a Pay Day Loan. I advised her that I had no Pay Day Loan and that I would never pay a company for a Pay Day Loan to get one. She told me the money would not be put back into my account until 01/06 put me on hold and then gave me a confirmation number.
I have been checking my account for my refund and I have yet to receive it. I called them back today 1/12 and the woman told me I would have to wait another 4-5 days for my refund and I told her that was unacceptable and it only take one day to do a refund. I had waited long enough for the unauthorized debit to be put back in my account. When I asked for her name she hung up on me. *
