Please read about the grassroots movement to reform the cps system on Washington state Senator Pam Roach's blog. I am concerned that when CPS takes children, they are much worse off than in any troubled home, and statistics prove that.in pierce county alone, eleven children died in the hands of CPS foster care.in our county alone! The amount of kids in foster care in america against the amount of kids not in foster care, you have to know that 1 kid is in foster care to 160 kids that are normal and with family. Do the math, there would have to have been 1,760 deaths of normal children to equate to the amount of death that occurs in cps care. I am so afraid of the abuse that goes on when children are kidnapped from loving parents to be in a "Safe place", where abuse is so extremely evident. The cps should not be allowed to have children in their care until they prove they are able to actually help and not hinder america. Kids in foster care have ptst 25% higher than war veterans, and girls are groomed to become young mothers at the rate of 40% by age 18 in foster care, which adds to the funding that is extremely handsome. Black children are classified as special needs, and that automatically gives the cps a bonus funding. The cps has been tough on the blacks and the funding is to blame. They like the special needs kids. The average child brings our state upwards of $6000-8000 of federal funding to support children are better off being kidnapped by a stranger. The cps is out of control, and they have quotas and they have broken laws again and again. There are many things that parents have sued for when they had the right money concerning their cps case. I would like to have new reform that creates a better society and for washington state to be the first state to be an example. I would like to see that children are kept at home, and that we only take the truely needy kids. Also, the funding for putting a kid with a stranger is 1000 higher than letting a child stay with family. Please consider that this a conflict of interest, especially in this recession when this state has a desperation for money. The cps is nothing more to me than a woman that uses a random child to beg for money, then just dumps the kid wherever and keeps the money for herself after recieving money.
