I have a horror story about Persian Kittens World http://www.persiankittens-pa.com / Here is the complaint I submitted to the credit card company (I can also submit the vet hospital records if desired)
Following is a description of my disputes.
I paid an initial deposit to reserve a kitten, followed by the remainder of the price shortly before my wife went and picked her (Bella) up.
The website http://www.persiankittens-pa.com/index_files/nursery.htm states that you get a healthy kitten, checked out by a veterinarian. What we received was not even close. The website had pictures of kittens that were available, we asked if a specific one was available that right now today still shows as available, we were told yes and to submit the application for adoption. The kitten we received does not match the picture, the eyes and nose were aligned totally different. She also had at least 6 or 8 fleas that we noticed upon getting her home. Fleas on a young kitten can cause them to become anemic from the loss of blood. We brought her to a vet the first week we had her when we realized she was not acting like a kitten - she was only sleeping and eating and going to the bathroom. Not playing, cleaning herself, etc. The veterinarian immediately had us bring her to the veterinary hospital after seeing her situation and hearing a major heart murmur on examining her. Where they found major problems with her, her heart rate was way down, her body temperature was way down, she was way too small and bony for the age we were told that she was. The hospital had a cardiologist check her heart out with sonic and x ray imagery to find she had a congenital heart defect. There was a small chance she would live long without surgery and she wouldn't be able to have the surgery until she was several months older.
In talking with Lynn Snyder about all these discoveries he denied everything, blames flea medicine for killing her and did not have the medical records we sent analyzed by a licensed veterinarian like he said he would as he has yet to give us a name and number of any veterinarian that has seen them or ever saw Bella when she was alive.
We contacted the Ani-Care Animal Hospital as listed in the email he sent me about where he has taken his cats in the past and they told me he has had a history of fleas and not taking care of them. They have received similar inquiries like ours as well we were told by people who purchased kittens from him in the past where his overall operation appears very very suspect.
We are asking for all of our money back, both the deposit to hold her and the second payment covering the rest.
I have also included the medical costs that his negligence and false advertising has caused us to bear, which is almost as much as Bella cost.
