Thank God for this site! I signed up with this company last night thinking it was the best deal and that I should give it a try, I'm desperate to sell my timeshare since I cannot afford it anymore. Well, I foolishly gave them my credit card # and they charged it right away.
Today I called my resort who told me to think twice about this company. Then I went online and found SEVERAL complaints. One thing that stood out was a complaint by one person who said they never got their contract because they took her email down wrong. As the hours passed I too was not getting my contract and when I called, sure enough - they have my email wrong. I tried calling the company ALL day and not only did no one ever call me back but they hung up on me when I called! I finally got an email from Victoria in the cancellations department. At least now I have this proof in case they don't credit my card in a timely manor.
I decided to use a more well know company - RE/MAX or Century 21 both have timeshare service. They told me the price of what I am going to sell for is about half of what the Vacation Property Marketing. I'm sure that's part of the scam and how they entice you to sign up. I rather know the truth upfront especially if the profit is going to be the same in the end.
