Manchester Moving and Storage is the worst company ever. I worked with Samantha, she had no idea how to estimate my move, it ended up double the cost. They totally damaged my dresser mirror and tried to cover it up. They opened and went through every box I had sealed and packed and stole jewelry and heirloom items. Delivery was two weeks late. They were horrible to deal with and treated me with no respect. To open and go through every box is just wrong. There is now way to say enough to warn others not to use them. They damaged items I had paid additional packing for. I have pictures of all damage. When contacting them and talking to the president they just laughed and said too bad for me.
I'm missing pieces of sets I can never replace. I never could get a straight answer out of them.
I went to the BBB and they wanted me to go to a mediator and I don't have more money to put at this, the move was double the estimate. And then I'd have to pay more money to find a resolution. It's important that someone else doesn't become their victim like I was.
Damage Resulting = Dresser mirror was totally damaged and broken and they tried to cover it up.
They broke a brand new vacuum cleaner, broken heirloom items. Stole jewelry after opening every box I had packed and sealed. I found packing paper stuffed inside boxes where they had taken out items. Clothes were filthy dirty that I had packed clean. I'm sure it took longer to delivery my load because they had to go through every box to steal items. I was NEVER EVER told my goods would go to a warehouse in Chicago, never and they tried to say I was told. NO I directly asked Samantha that question. If I had been told yes I would not have contracted with them. They are liars, thieves and crooks they prey on innocent people.
