Why is chase bank trying to scam people about getting mortgage modifications? We have applied twice by completing every thing required in the last 4 months. We keep getting the letter saying intent to foreclose, but have called both chase and fha many many times only to be told they are going to assign a person to us... We keep seeing all of our options to keep our home, but what good are they if we're not able to obtain them? Times are so difficult for so many americans right now, that all of the added stress we have in trying to get into one of these programs is almost too much... in our situation, after a 5 month lay off from work, my 62 year old husband now is back to work and able to get back on track with our mortgage, but catching up with 3 months past due is not possible. Is there really anything we can do that can help us, or should we just give up and hope chase doesn't foreclose on our home for over 30 years?
