Bevron is a division of the Kirby Co. I was treated just exactly like the man ripped off by jvc. I answered an ad in the local newspaper. I went in for an interview on 8-12-03 and was told they were looking for someone for human resources.
I was told i would get a call in one hour if i got the job. There was about 30 people applying. I got the call in an hour. Ron asked for me to come in the next day for training. That day i was told i would be getting paid $350.00 per week for training but i needed to know a little about Kirby, so i took them apart and learned all about them.
Then he had me go door to door trying to sell them. On the 7th day i worked i told him i could not sell door to door. He called me lazy. I asked for my pay and he told me i had been in unpaid training. I have called the Kirby Company and spoke to a man named scott who would not give a last name.
He was so nasty and i could tell he was also a fraud. I believe the Kirby Company supports this and maybe even teaches these practices.
Anyway i have filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of labor. They have an investigation going on with my claim. Anyone intrested in makig a complaint the department of labor tampa # is 813-288-1242.
