Advertised as a free book to consumers from the green millionaire on how to save money the Green way. You go to the website and fill in your mailing info and e-mail address. They charge a nominal 1.95 shipping and you can only pay by credit card. They bill the card for the shipping and your book is there in a few days. What you didn't know was you signed up for a trial period newsletter for 14 days. After the trial period they charge your account 89.95, remember you gave them your card number for the free book shipping costs. You can cancel by phone during normal business hours EST. If you go to the bottom of the webpage and look real hard you will find The Terms and Conditions.in the terms and conditions it explains the trial period and the charges if you don't cancel in 14 days you are now a customer. All sales are final and due in full. So once again you have to read all the fine print and open more webpages to find out you got scammed. The only saving grace is the credit card companies will remove the charge if you dispute it. That has been done and the next move is up to the Green Millionaire website, whoever that is. It has been a lot of years since I got took on-line but somehow I missed this one really bad.
