Duracell green label AA and AAA batteries purchased at Home Depot won't hold a charge brand new right out of the package. After recharge for 2hrs in NIMH charger, they will lose charge in 12 hours loose in a bag. I have 24 that I purchased and all 24 AA's are bad. The AAA's performed only slightly better. 2 AAA's of 8 purchased actually hold charge properly for use. Here is the same complaint online
