Blessings, grandpa and I received a gift card for christmas from our grandson in california to the cheesecake factory. The closes one is 1 1/2hrs away from sharon s.C. I just turned 66 yrs and grandpa was having a birthday in march of 82 yrs old. We throught it would be a great time to use our gift card. When we got to charlotte we circled around the parking deck to find a close up spot so grandpa would not have to walk to far.in a few minutes we had one. It took us no time to get into the resturant. Our waitor's name is Michael O. He was very clean looking in his uniform. No food left over on the uniform the day before. He greeted us with a samile and hello. We ordered our drinks. We were at Table 205 on02/10. He came back shortly to get our order for lunch. He started talking and grandpa and I could not hear him because the room was so open and airy. It was very beautiful with the different colors of bottles in the window. We do not hear very well because of our age. Michael was so gracious that he bent down to the table and explain the specials of the day and helped us to select our meals. He was so throughtful to us because he filled our drinks and kept asking us if we needed anything else. He was so busy with other customers but yet he saw us alittle nervous being out in the big city that he cared enough to speak to us until our meal arrived. The portions were very hardy and big. Grandpa order the dinner plate of pepper shrimp and I had a luncheon plate of salmon. HMM HMM it was great. Michael came back with the desert menu and explained the dishes. Grandpa couldn't eat another bite and neither could I. Michael suggested two mouth watery cheesecakes and we ordered 3 to take home. Michael was so pleasant and he asked us if we would like some sweet tea to drink on the way home. If it wasn't for the gift card and Michael our waitor, we would not have experieced a wonderful day. Later that evening we tasted our cheesecakes and remember how blessed we were to enjoy a rich fullfilling day, and needless to say we told our children, our neighbors and the people that I worked for that it is worth the trip, the time and expense to take a trip to the cheesecake factory in charlotte north carolina plus I told them to ask for Michael O., waitor.
