When I pay for the privilege to watch a DVD movie, I do not want to be forced to wait until all the preview have played. Warner Brothers Pictures is a major offender in wasting my time. I get so angry that I have to leave the room until after the movie starts. Often, the movie has already started before I get back, and it is a pain to get back to the start of the movie.
Regardless of whether the movie is purchased or rented, the viewer should always have the right to skip past the previews any time he or she chooses.
