I was on the market for a new washing machine. Lowes ' sale rep convinced me on one of the GE model for $599, guaranteed to be the lowest price on the market, and offering me 10% off if i applied a lowe's credit card.
After I bring back with Home depot advertised model (the same model) for $ 100 less, lowe's sale rep told me that he can match the price only, and 10% off with credit card application wont be available.
The funny thing is that they even had this AD stating that 10% off to beat any other local store price on the same model.
Lowes's sale rep refuse to honor it at all.
