I happen to love Taco Bell food and am a frequent customer wherever I find one at least twice a week. Today, I went to the Taco Bell on 5th and Northwest Blvd and across from Sax Car Wash. I parked in the lot and ran inside only to find a long ordering line. I was in a super hurry and didn't want to wait so I ran out to Chipotle next door and left my van parked in the Taco Bell lot. I did NOT see the Taco Bell customer parking only (I've NEVER ever seen a Taco Bell have such restricted parking for it's customers!). I was in Chipotle only 5 minutes and came out with my meal and my van was "stolen" from the Taco Bell lot by their hired towing company-Camcar Towing @ 2360 Wood Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43221. I was shocked and furious! For one, I'm not one to ever violate warning signs, but when you're not used to ever seeing them at Taco Bells, it's rather disconcerting. I'm disappointed in this franchise'd location. I talked with several former customers who told me they don't like their practice and feel that this does the opposite of trying to keep people from using their lot to eat at Chipotle next door. I can understand their (AJA Restaurant Group) reasons, but I think it's achieving the wrong result overall. I will NEVER make a point to stop into this Taco Bell or any other now and instead will only eat at Chipotle restaurants and will tell as many people as I can about the dirty practice of preying on customers lack of observation when all they really want is to satisfy their hunger. AJA just wants to satisfy their hunger for money and help out Camcar. Good bye Taco Bell forever!
