My husband and i worked for advanced carriers for a lady named summer. This lady has not payed us for the week she owes us for and the new week we just finished and she is trying to have us falsely write out our logs and and gives us no down time.
And before you can deliver one load she is screaming at you to hurry cause she has another load awaiting you to be picked up... She is promising brokers that if they hire her she can have a load from tampa to LA in 3 days as we all know is illegal you can not run more then 10 hrs on and 10 hrs off a day... This lady has been doing this job for 23 months my husband has been an otr driver for over 35 years and he knows what he is doing. When we told her that we were reporting her to the D.O. T she said i dont care go ahead i am not scared of them they cant touch me or do anything to me. So guess what we reported her and they are on the look out. Now she refuses to pay my husband for the two weeks we did work... I have talked to one of her brokers and she has been red tagged and alll scale house's from florida to georgia are on the look out for her trucks and will be shutting them down this lady has done nothin but lie from the moment we got the truck and left and now she is slandering our names but in all due time what goes around comes around... If you are looking for a job in the tampa area please be advised that advanced carriers is not the job you want... They will rip you off and cause you harm to your cdl..
