After no longer having full time employment, I followed an AD in the Tribune for receptionist. I responded and was asked to come in for an interview. I was not told the company name, even when asked, only given the address. I went down, and yes, the atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. I had my interview and was told that they were interested in giving me one of 3 open spots in the company - personal assistant - Manager - or receptionist and that I was to call back at exactly 4 PM to find out my status.
I called and was asked to come in for a second interview the next day. I went in and the "owner" of this particular store came in and gave us (a group of about 20 people) the speel. He outright stated it was NOT a MLM. Several people walked out durring the speel, and he asked one elderly lady to leave.
At the end of the "interview" I was given another time to call back. I called back and was told I would start the following Monday. After talking to my husband, we decided to research Scentura. That is when I called the office back and stated I would not be interested in the job after all. Has anyone considered a class action suit against them?
