KingRay H.K.inT Screwed Us.
Are you searching for an overseas manufacturer for your bags or other outdoor products? I do hope you find what you're looking for, but whatever you do, DO NOT USE KINGRAY H.K.inT CO, LTD from China. As of today's date, we have been screwed royally by them. Over a year ago my wife decided to start her own line of bags, and after creating five dynamic designs she researched some overseas manufacturers and settled on KingRay to produce her bags. What a mistake. It has almost been a year and we have no bags and have paid them more than $2,000 USD and have been given nothing in return. They promised they could do the bags just like the designs we sent in, but that was a lie too. Every time we'd send an e-mail voicing our concerns, all we kept hearing in reply was, "Please, don't worry, it will be fine."
Well, it was not fine. A few weeks ago we finally asked for our money back, but the salesperson we had been dealing with for months would not answer us back for days. Finally, a manager answered back saying that this man had been fired for dishonesty and for stealing customer information. Are you kidding me? For nearly a year we had been dealing with some sort of con artist on staff? So I kindly thanked this woman and said, "In light of the circumstances I believe we would just like a refund."
KingRay's solution was to take out $700 of "materials" they had used already and refund us the remaining $1,300."But we didn't get anything for our $700 and months of waiting, " I told her. They didn't care. So apparently I spent $700 on materials that they kept for themselves, and even after dealing with a dishonest representative for months KingRay did not want to lose any money. That's like going to a restaurant and finding a cockroach in your steak before you even take a bite and having the waiter take it away and charging you for half of it because they had to cook it. Good companies know that if they make a mistake, THEY FIX IT. They don't keep your materials and your money.
But that's not the end. Since then I have repeatedly asked when we will receive our $1,300 and I got a response saying "Please don't worry. We don't have U.S. Dollars in our bank right now. Give us some time." Since then I have asked three times for a date when we can expect the refund and I have been ignored. I fear this company is trying to take us for everything we have and give us nothing in return.
If you want to manufacturer your product, best of luck to you. If you choose to use KingRay H.K.inT CO., LTD, you are playing Russian roulette and you will probably lose all your money. You've been warned.
