Sending my money to Fairpoint through TDBanknorth but not being cashed

Fairpoint received my electronic payment on Jan 13 for 40.00 but now I am told I owe 125.00. I have sent in payments on 2/4 for 50.00. Payments on 3/4 and 3/15 for a total of 87.27 and a payment on 4/2 for 50.00.

With numerous calls to Fairpoint, checks being stopped and re-issued by my bank during these listed months without any success I have given up. I will not make anymore payments as Fairpoint doesn't want to accept my payments.

I tried to contact Fairpoint using their website and filling out the form but get a notification their server is not working... Poor excuse of not wanting to help their customers.

Bottom line is that they only want paper checks which in this day and age most people use lock boxes or electronic lock boxes but for some reason Fairpoint is not able to do this. Even though the paper check is sent to their collection point in Lewiston, Maine the checks are either sitting around or being destroyed as they are not being sent back to the bank. Why did the check get accepted in Jan and not the other months. Did a coding program get changed to not accept a check that said Verizon verses Fairpoint? After working in Telecom for 15 years I can't image a company not accepting a check or to make matters worse not wanting to help their customer solve their problem, shame, shame.
