These people booked wedding photography October 5 and the deposit policy was changed for year 2010 for having 2 photographers so they refused to bring their account from $250 to $400 and the contract was canceled February 7
They posted a report with false accusations, bogus statements, misleading information, lies, with the intent to harm the company reputation and frighten brides away. We found a complaint filed by Amy Heist with the Attorney Generals Consumer Protection Division and we told them it would be resolved in court with a civil suit this year. They claim the $250 deposit money was stolen 5 months after they paid with a credit card to our paypal account so that dispute was closed by paypal immediately. They are compulsive liars and I have proof.
Doug Hartley and Amy Heist are being investigated for libel, defamation, extortion, and tortious interference with business expectancy. I hired undercover agents to collect reports or reviews posted by these people and that evidence will be given to my lawyer as she continues to build a civil suit to be filed at 54A district court. They cost me and the company I worked for thousands in damages because that report caused fear and paranoia among brides that booked the company for weddings this year.
We've lost so much in the past 3 months and the reputation is beyond repair at this point - what they've done is unforgivable. Before you work for these people take my advice and use extreme caution. It could destroy your reputation, years of hard work, cost your company thousands in damages, and hefty court fees if they get angry with you or company you work for. Its not worth the risk, they cannot be trusted.
