I worked for Jill Egorin for 3 Months. She was the biggest idiot I have ever met. After I finally quit, she wouldn't give me my final paycheck without making me sign this letter saying I wouldn't sue her. What employer has that type of documentation readily availabe? Well, I'll tell you... A company that is a SCAM. Thats what this was. I was told at my interview that I was lucky to be "chosen" for this position because so many people applied and they could only take 1. Out of all the people in the waiting room still to interview, I felt lucky... They also told me you have to have a college degree. Ha, the next day, half the people in that room were hired and NONE had a degree! Looks like that was a lie but I was unemployed so I decided to stay a bit more. I thought, hey, if Jill owns a company, it must be easy. My first job was to harass people at Home Depot. Just one of their many "Fortune 500 Companies" they represent. This was embarassing and I felt annoying. Everyday I would show up at the office where I would "practice my pitch" for an hour, Jill would rant on about some stupid motivational story wearing skirts so short everyone could see her thong, she dressed so unprofessional it was disgusting. How could anyone respect that? No one did and we all made fun of her while she thought she looked so hot LOL. She looked more like a stripper than a business woman. After the meeting, we would be assigned a partner and location, maybe get an interview, then head off to Home Depot where we had to drive using our own gas money. I had to use my own CELL PHONE, are you kidding me??? All of these strangers talking to the "call center" on MY phone using MY minutes that I didn't get reimbursed for!!! I hated that but I was told if I did well I could be "promoted" to a make-up campaign. What a JOKE!!! This was even worse, I now had to harass people in SAMS clubs but instead of working 11-7, I now had to work til 9 at night!!! Not only that, I had to set up these displays FOR FREE... Yes, i said unpaid... At like 10 at night after the store closed!!! The girl who managed that campaign said how she couldn't stand Jill either and couldn't wait to open her business so I continued working. Jill would promise her things, promise me things, and the lies went on an on. I was told I would make more money if I hired people under me and when I did I never saw another penny. It was all lies. The Owner, Jill Egorin, instructed me to not hire "Black People" she said they are lazy and just cause problems. I was like, ummm... Not only are you a racist but THATS ILLEGAL!!! She just laughed and told me she was trying to help me out for my future business... Because thats what this company does, they actually PROMISE YOU A BUSINESS. Oh it was awful, the entire 3 months felt like a year. I only learned what NOT to do in life. I just saw on the news this company is in trouble with the IRS. Good, I hope it all gets shut down.
