I purchased a Nomedics Bathroom Scale model SC-501 on 10/23/09. It quit working on 12/10/09 (would only display "0.0" Lbs). I e-mailed the company with my complaint the same day, I recieved no reply and sent them another e-mail on 1/14/10 which they replied to on or about 1/28/10, with instructions to send the scale to a Novi, MI address (not the Commerce Township address in the instruction booklet). I UPS'd the scale on 2/1/10 for $13.76. I recieved my "Repaired" scale on 2/12/10. It quit working again on 2/24/10. (numbers bounce all over and does not lock and gives Err code (no kidding). Not much of a repair. The scale is headed for the trash and Homedics is deleted from my defined list of good products. And to boot it was made in China. Homedics is just in business to ripoff the American consumer.
