This contactor has know idea what he is doing and is using someone else's license to do business. His workers are very unprofessional and were not supervised during remodeling. We were left with an unsafe fireplace which if we attempt to start a fire in the fireplace it would cause a fire inside the walls. He installed a bay window in our kitchen that we have to cover completly due to improper sealing and covering that would leak during a rain storm. Re-pipe was not completed and has many problems. Twenty feet of galvanized pipe not replaced and no straps on pipes. Also kitchen piping was also inproperly done. We had recessed lighting installed in several rooms and there are numerious problems that are not to code. Shoddy dry wall work in which you can see all the areas that had electric and repipe work done showing through. Painting job very sloppy with little or no attention to detail. Paint slopped on newly installed kitchen cabinets, newly installed tile floor and on furniture and shutters. This contractor pulled no permits and gave us no paperwork or change orders giving us no detail on how our 50,000.00 was spent. We have filled a complaint to the California State License Board and filled a claim against his bonding company. This contractor continues to deny and wrong doing and still refuses to even come out and look at the shoddy work. When we try to tell him about the problems he says that we are lying and are just trying to milk him out of money. He is the most difficult and arrogant impossble person we have ever dealt with. He has no regard for our personal safety regarding the fireplace and won't even look at the work. This contractor needs to be stopped so that no other consumer has to go through what we have been though.
