I was recently Ripped off by Dwayne Dino Monia.
I am very saddened to write this report about Dwayne Dino Monia, but the truth is that women & men should be very weary of this man. No woman wants to be taken advantage of by a man like this. I read another complaint here on this site, but the woman spelled his name wrong. The complaint was under Dwayn Monia which is a incorrect spelling.By the way, I did an extensive background check on him since he embezzled $1,800.00 from me last month. I am just a working Joe and single Mother, but I guess he needed to steal money from me; big man, huh? He has a wrap sheet that goes on and on and on. Oh my Lord, so I guess with my loss of $1800.00 is nothing compared to how this man could have ruined my entire life. How petty, Dwayne Dino Monia should be ashamed of himself, simply put he's a liar and swindler.
Anyway, I was dating him on the website Black People Meet (as another woman was who registered a complaint here) He gave me a similar story, that for a small loan he would purchase real estate, flip it, pool others money and have my money back to me by the 1st of the month. He pressured me by grumbling that his other relatives were so stupid and they missed out on the opportunity. One day he called in a panic, screaming and yelling and crying on the phone that he NEEDED THE MONEY NOW!!! Wire the money right now!!! I panicked, and sent him what I had to loan him. I thought it was real strange that he did not want me to put the money in his Wells Fargo account; only send Western Union. He even said he had a Western Union account, which I thought was very strange. He promised that he would repay the loan and also purchase a house at auction for us to live in and that he wanted me to move to Fresno. He was real slick to never discuss loan repayment in any text messages. I didn't catch that until he vanished with the money. On two occasions I wired him money. Each time I would inquire about the loan repayment, he would say something was delayed; the bank was holding the funds, etc. He strung me on as long as he could. A few times, he would start a verbal fight on the phone and scream out "Everything is all about you, right?", then hang up on me when the heat was on him.
Anyway, he's a sneaky one folks. RUN, run, run! It took me 2 paychecks to make that money, and he could care less! Oh, by the way, the day the loan money was suppose to be re-paid to me, his profile vanished on Black People Meet and the phone disconnected he had been calling me on was disconnected. He called me back with a Blocked phone number the following morning, I guess to keep in touch so he could steal more money from me in the future.
My final text note to him was that if he was the honorable man that he claimed he was, I would be repaid the loan and it would completely clear the bank. That never happened.
