I am wayne and like most of the others here i also worked for k&b actually truth be told i worked for them twice. The first time i worked for them everything went fine no problems at all i had to leave because of personal reasons i returned to the yard in nebraska and retrieved my stuff from my truck and they gave me a ride to the bus depot and bought me a ticket back home the last thing i was told was by sean that once my personal problems where solved i could come back and work for them. So after about two months gone and my problems solved i returned back to work with k&b.
My second return to k&b was a nightmare i went through oreintation and was placed in a truck just like the first time but i had a new dispatcher and sorry to say he was very young and new to the trucking industry and he was being taught to bully his drives now to be upfront i dont blame the dispatch he was only doing what he was told and taught so i beleive he was just doing hes job and was probably coresed to do the things just like the company does there drivers. Now after 4 weeks of being on the road with very limited sleep maybe 4 hours a day if i was lucky and yes ill say just like everybodyelse has said i was told to doctor my logs. I too like many other drives contacted nancy in safety to tell her what was happening and i could believe the words that came out her mouth and when i asked to speak to her supervisor she just laughed and hung up the phone. But what really got me was what happened next. I was just coming off home time and i live in the houston texas area they sent me to houston downtown be it to load and make three stops in the dallas area which where to be delivered the next day around 2.15am i arrived in houston around 8am i was immediatley backed into a dock where i sat until 11.30pm now has you can see i was already out of hours plus from houston to dallas is a 3.5 to 4 hr drive so there would be know way even if i had my hours to make it on time. So i notifited the night dis patch what the situation was and they told me i was fired leave the truck where it was and find my own way home. Well that was just the start of it i asked if a supervisor was there becusae i didnt think a dispatch at the power to do this and i got a kid named kyle that said he was the k in k&b and that if i didnt stop my truck and leave it at my disignated parking spot i would be arrested. So i did what they asked and parked where i was suppose to got my things out and went home. I thought i would get this all cleared up the next morning. And surprising enough i was called by my dispatcher asking me what had happened so explained it to him and he said i was being played by the night dispatchers and that yes now i was fired because i didnt deliver the load and abandoned my truck so like many others i cant get a job anywhere because of the lies and diception that k&b dishes out. I tried numerous times to contact k&b to discuss the problems and to come up with a peacefully way to settle this issue and all ive been getting is threats cursing and telling me they will do whatever it takes to make sure i dont find a job well i hate to tell them i found a good company to drive for and this company knows first hand what k&b is all about. I hope one day k&b gets the just reward.
