I was solicited by Viraj Bhalla from Express Home Solutions to perform a loan modification for me. I was leery of the fact that I had to pay 3% of my loan amount to them to do this, but he was good at convincing me by telling me they have a money-back guarantee, if I was not satisified, that I would get all of my money back. And I quote Mr. Bhalla: "We will do everything we can to make sure you're satisified."
Take into considering and this is a biggie, as I found out later on, there are HUD-approved companies who do the same exact thing absolutely free. Express Home Solutions IS NOT HUD approved by the way. Go to makinghomeaffordable. Gov to find one.
My problem is this matter never came to fruition. They did not deal with my case in a satisfactory manner and held up the process by not submitting the documentation to my bank that I was requested to produce for them, which by the way, I always did in an extremely timely manner in hopes to get this done ASAP.
I just got to the point where I realized I was the one doing all the work, why am I paying these people? I was very unsatisified and disappointed in them and I urge anyone who is thinking about using this company to think twice about it unless you have time to waste while they lollygag and dawdle.
I have made repeated attempts verbally and in writing to get my money back to no avail, not even so much as a phone call back or email acknowledging the fact. I plan to take legal action, but I don't want you to have to go through this, so please, please, please don't use Express Home Solutions for your financial issues.
