Cynthia brooks they sent me a check for 3,998.00 said i was a mystery shopper for a reseach personanal. When i went to cash the check i almost went to jail. I feel this company used me to recieve my personal information

I recived a letter in check in the mail. The letter stated i was a consumer servey specialist and that i was selected to become a mystery skopper with there company. The check amount they sent me was 3,998.00. But when i went to cash the check i was told that the check was no good in that i could go to jail if i try to cash it. I was in shock! I feel this company used me to get my personal information in feel they should pay forwhat they have done to me. Mrs lora, lima, ohio
