On January 3 I saw a computer program online that most major online stores were selling. This program was able to use your voice to control the Media Center program created by Microsoft for windows Seven. Excitedly I quickly went straight to the web site for One Voice Technologies and bought the program. Normailly I would have gone to some other supplier of Computer components and programs, but I thought that buying straight form the source would be a good idea. After purchasing the 80 dollar program online, I was sent an automatic e-mail thanking me for my purchase and was told to download the shareware version and wait for my serial/activation code to be e-mailed to me within 24 hours. I waited. Waited. Waited. Waited. What do you know? It never arrived!
The company still took the money off my credit card, I have the statements to prove it. I waited even longer before trying to contact them. No sales representatives, even though they say that there were. I even spent a fourtune trying to contact the European branch of the company.
I ended up doing what I should have done in the first place, and that was, buying it (AGAIN) from, at least they are trust worthy.
Bottom line, long distance phone calls, and no one returning my calls. E-mails being sent back to my account as if there support lines are not even there and The loss of Eighty Bucks has made me decide to put this complaint in on the business.
I just don't want these guys to get anyone else.
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company. Plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
