I stopped by to get a reading from Circle of Inner Visions tonight.
First of all, how creepy! The reader, Animus, posted in a room my isp number and other identifying information. He did this in response to his pronouncements that he could tell what type of system a person is using. Since I have a firewall, I was wondering whether he cuold see my computer system. He said he could and then posted all of my system info on the screen, including my isp — which is a virtual Internet social security number and a must have for hackers.
Needless to say, I decided to stay for a reading. God, he could not have been more incompetent or fake as a reader. I asked him what he saw for me with work. He said he saw me working with children and animals. What the hell? I hold an MBA and have only worked in business development. I thought maybe he was sensing that I have cat at my feet and love my pet. He said no — that I could have a great career working with animals and children. Huh? I have nearly 25 years of experience, none of which are in the field of children or animals, nor do I have any interest in working with either.
He then announced that I am "unhappy" in my field and should change. But I have a dream job and am waiting to hear on a new prospect. I asked whether he could see the offer. He said that I must be unhappy as things haven't panned out as I have expected. Hello! I applied a week ago and will interview next week. How does that translate into things not panning out.
After several misses, he then started babbling about how my "sixth charka" is too open. What the hell does that mean? He said I am getting too much information on other people psychically and that i am overwhelmed by their energy. Again, No to this. First, I am not psychic. He said I am spiritual. Hello? I am sitting in a psychic room — but my spirituality amounts to prayer and meditation. I am not overwhelmed.
This man could not have been more off or more nonsensical. I also was alarmed that he posted my personal information in a room full of strangers and that when you log onto his side, his web site scans your computer and is able to pull that information up, presenting serious security issues for those who got visit him for his alleged "readings."
