I am one of hundreds, if not thousands, of computer/repair/TV technicians who were not paid for performing work for this company (I would say they owe an estimated hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions of dollars, in unpaid compensation).
One of their majorly crooked strategies is trying to shift the blame on their techs anywhere from blaming techs for poor quality work performed to not finishing their work.in fact, Syntechs has been known to openly lie to new hires, stating that the disgruntled techs who say they are not getting paid were just poor quality workers who are mad because they were terminated. Could it be that syntechs was that incompetent in the hiring process that they have been unfortunate enough to have consistently hired hundreds and hundreds of poor quality techs??? How hard is this work really??? Trust me, even a 5-year-old perform most of this work. None of their lame excuses makes any sense. Even if what they say an ounce of truth to it, the law is the law a tecnician performs the work, he is entitled to get paid for the work. If they dont like the quality of work, dont hire him again or seek legal action against him. Here are some other lame, crooked excuses Syntechs has used in not paying their techs:
The economy is slow so the checks are slow but you WILL get paid. (If the economy were affecting their business so much, how are they getting the jobs for techs to perform? And if they truly cant afford to pay techs, why are they still aggressively advertising/recruiting??? _
Your attitude is further slowing down payment. (Apparently its the techs fault because if the techs were not to complain about not getting payment, Syntechs would be doing their jobs right and pay them accordingly. Its ALL the fault of techs. Yeah right. WHAT AN INSULT TRYING PATRONIZE US LIKE LITTLE CHILDREN!!! This excuse of theirs is equivalent to what a grownup would say to a little kid, Now behave yourself and youll get some candy. Quite frankly, Im VERY surprised why they have not gotten the crap beat out of them.)
You dont get paid until we get paid. Its just the nature of the business. Sometimes we have to wait on these companies to pay us. Wrong. Tech contracts state clearly that they are paid a month after the end of any given month, which is also the end of the pay period. Even as there MAY be some truth to this lie/excuse and that Syntechs is really waiting on their clients to pay them, is that and should that burden be LEGALLY shifted to techs AND does it really take THAT LONG for client companies to pay them??? For instance, as for myself, payment was due to me over 4 MONTHS ago and Im not even in as bad shape as lots of other techs who have been waiting for YEARS to get paid!!!
Surely I am not the first to filing a complaint against this sleazy, crooked company.in fact, Im not the only one willing to put this on black and white.

Has anything been done from the Attorney Generals Office in Florida? What steps do we technicians need to take to get something started? Whats it going to take to initiate a state class-action???
