On dec. 12 my computer went haywire and a message from real goldsoft appeared announcing that my windows had expired and i was to pay them an amount of approx. $59.00 to re-register. I shut down my computer and upon restart the same message appeared. I clicked to yes box to purchase but when the billing information was shown, i noticed that no "safe transaction message" appeared nor was there a "paypal" method of payment. I again switched off my computer, unplugged everything and waited for a couple of hours. Upon restart i went into safe mode and prompted my antivirus which found over 100 virus in the form of "kryptik".
Immediately, same day, i contacted my bank to see whether any transactions were made and i was informed that an amount of usd$99.90 was charged. I told them not to make payment but was informed that in order to do so i must cancel my credit card which i did. Today, 20.01.10 i received my credit card statement and not only did my bank proceed with payment to real goldsoft the amount of usd$99.90 (68.91 euro) my credit card has not been re-issued. Furthermore my computer drives were damaged beyond repair and on 08.01.2010 i went and bought a new one. I will be contacting my lawyer tomorrow so if anybody can give me more information about this company (if they can call themselves that) which is a credit card fraud, i would very much appreciate it.
