I used google to look for some books on watchmaking and horology. I found this website to where I can download an ebook for $5.99.
The description of the book sounded good, so I purchased it. The title given on the website was different than what it really was, which is a book that I already own, both in paper book format and on pdf. This book is free in the public domain and they are selling it for $5.99, which doesn't bother me, but the fact is they changed the title of the book so nobody will know that it is the same book for free in the public domain. The person who contacted me about this said that they change the name of the books to make it easier to search on the internet on search engines. Pure B.S.!!!
I contacted the company to ask for a refund, and they basically said to go pound dirt, and that they will not issue me a refund. I will be filing a charge back with my credit card company. After looking on thier website even further, I have found that all of thier books have changed titles. This is a ripoff company and they can go to hell.
