I purchased a car that had an Exide battery in it that is clearly dated 2006. When it failed on me today I called their corporate office in Alpharetta, GA and they gave me the name of 2 stores that sold their battery and I should take it back to them. I tried to return the battery to the stores they suggested and they said that with no receipt of purchase they would not warranty their product. I spent 5 hours going to the stores they suggested only to get the same answer. I then called their corporate office only to find out that their warranty is not transferable.
I suggest you NEVER buy a battery made by Exide as they understand that their battery is sub-standard and they do NOT stand behind their product!!!
