I bought a French Bulldog from Richard Barke of Bullheadeddogs to use as a pet, show dog, and breeder. He promised me the dog had AKC papers, essential to showing and breeding.
The papers never came. I contacted him repeatedly. He repeatedly said he had the papers in hand but just hadn't mailed them.
I finally contacted the man Rick Bark bought my puppy from. I found out that Rick used my money as a deposit to buy an imported French Bulldog mother and her two puppies. He told the breeder he would pay for the mother and puppies as soon as he sold both puppies. The man said he'd send along the papers to the mother and puppies as soon as he received payment.
I paid 1300.00 dollars for my dog. Richard Bark paid 900.00 for the three dogs plus 300 dollars for shipping. So the breeder only ever got 900.00 dollars. As a result he has not forwarded the papers to Barke, and I have no papers on my dog.
