Acaipure = an endless scam! - fitfactory - automatic membership with no opt-out

Please Improve? Wow, that's an understatement! Wish I could rate this company waaaay lower than that! Scum-bucket Scammers! In addition to all of the other complaints of overcharging for products that were never ordered or received, be sure to check your CC statements for a charge of $29.95 per month from an online company called Fitfactory. When you purchase a "free trial" of a product from Aciapure.com, you will unwittingly acquire a membership with fitfactory.com with a 30 day trial. I saw their automated email "welcoming me to fitfactory" (what?) and called them to cancel before they could charge me anything. I've read many complaints of people not noticing the email from them and only found out about this part of the scam once their CC was already charged $29.95 per month. The day after I canceled the "membership" with fitfactory.com, I tried to log into the account they had automatically set up for me, hoping that it wouldn't work, and was shocked to see that it did indeed allow me to log in! I called them back to tell them that it looked like my account was still active. They told me my account was canceled and not to worry. And they couldn't figure out why/how I could still sign on... Whatever! I immediately called my CC company, canceled my card and will be filing a fraud complaint against both companies. One more thing... I checked to see how fitfactory was represented on acaipure's website... Once you fill out the form on the home page with your name etc., it takes you to another page where there is a banner at the top that advertises fitfactory... It says "SPECIAL BONUS! Fit Factory" and then it says "FREE TRIAL!" and lists a few of their highlights, however there is NO PLACE TO OPT OUT of this!!! The average consumer does even notice this banner ad, and WHY do they think we would ever consider this crap as a "SPECIAL BONUS?!" Acaipure's whole web site is VERY deceiving, to say the least!!! Hope no one else falls for it and good luck to those that have and are now dealing with the headaches!!
