In November Pleasantville Glass completed a full replacement and install of a new Macrolux polycarbonate roof over my deck because it leaked. Within months the roof started leaking. Pleasantville Glass refused to fix anything unless I paid additional money. After speaking with the manufacturer and distributor of this material and learning how it should have been installed, it became very clear that the leaks were due to an improper installation. The installation clearly was NOT done according to manufacturer’s specifications. This was confirmed by discussions with Co-Ex which I had no issue reaching by telephone. Mr. Colleluori from AIN Plastics also contacted a representative from Co-Ex who sent an email to confirm that horizontal profiles should NOT be used which is further evidence of a “faulty installation”. Pleasantville Glass has taken no responsibility or any further steps to rectify the problem.
