I signed up for Charter high speed internet & high-definition cable. Having terrible experiences with Time Warner cable, I took very careful notes and detailed my "deal" when I spoke with him.
I received the first bill yesterday — and of course it was higher than what I was quoted.
First I tried communicating online — the rep said she couldn't do anything about changing my bill. I asked to be connected to a supervisor... And of course, was finally disconnected after waiting for nearly 15 minutes.
Called back today. Within 2 minutes, the rep on the phone said, oh, you were overcharged by about $5. Ok, good, but that's still higher than what I was quoted.
Incredibly frustrated. At least the guy on the phone was somewhat more competent... But he was still unwilling to send me an email to confirm what he said & I can already see next month's bill — I suspect it will be higher than this month's.
