I bought a car from smart auto choice who was selling it out of e-bay, this was my first time I have ever done this and what a big big mistake I made, he had pictures of the car on e-bay and of course they were great, I stupidly took his carfax for what it said and of course it could not have been right, I sent him a 500.00 deposit and my wife and I flew from Ia. To Tampa to be picked up by him. We waited about 45 min. And finally he showed up with one of his co-workers, we then went to the ramp that was inside the airport to what I thought we were going to the dealership to finalize the paper work. To our surprise the car was there and it was a absolute mess, it had bird crap all over it, we asked why it was in the shape it was and was told they did not have the time to clean it, when you are 1200 miles from home and no one to turn to and they having my 500.00 dollars what the heck was we to do? Not a good feeling for sure, we went there to a post office and signed the papers, again not the smartest thing to do. I noticed after we cleaned the car up the rear quarter panel looked like it had been repainted and inside the gas door was cracked, he said he did not know anything about it and that I bought the car as is, and hung up, the reason I am writing this is someone had hit my rear bumper and I took it in to be repaired, the body shop asked me if this car had been in a accident. I said I was told no, he said who ever did the body work and the paint job did not know what the hell they were doing, I paid over 540.00 dollars for a very small repair job on that bumper, I cannot imagine what kind of damage it had and how they can get away with that kind of lies and dishonesty, they need to be put out of what they are doing and using e-bay and making a honest dealership look bad, I know I should have know better but I quess I take most people as honest respectable human beings, these people have none of these qualities, they should pay to have this automobile put back to the shape it should have been in, do not buy anything from this dealership, you will regret it for sure.
