Yes he's good! I worked for another water company for awhile, and replaced quite a few haque units with our equipment. The people who were leasing from JC Galloway always found it a shock when they contacted JC's wife to have the equipment taken out.
Firstly, they would be informed that they had signed a 5 year contract (without their knowledge) and then informed that they would have to pay up to $500 for breach of contract! And if they didn't pay they would be taken to court - the latter was usually shouted down the phone.
The problem is - if the softeners were working properly then the customers wouldn't be changing companies, so in some cases people have been bullied into keeping and paying for equipment that didn't actually work! And if you complain, they hang up on you, and eventually stop taking your calls!
If you were unfortunate enough to have purchased a hague from these people, then you'll soon start getting calls and nasty letters to say that if they don't service your system once a year (it's not cheap) then the warranty is void - do hague really know or care who their dealers are, and what they get up to!
Stay away from these people!
