On July 31st I received a call into the medical office I manage. The caller ID registered 'Private'. After giving my usual greeting the person on the other end of the line said "Hey, this is Susan. I need to speak to the gal who orders your supplies." Since that person is me and my vendors call me by name I asked her what company she was with.
The answer she gave was unintelligible and when I asked her to repeat herself she became very curt. She demanded to speak to whoever orders the medical supplies because there was an issue with an order. I plainly told her we did not have an account with Purity Medical and before I could inform her that an order has never been placed with her company I was hung up on. She then called back and again asked for the supply ordering person and when I told her she had just talked to me she hung up on me again.
I looked up the company info and called them directly. The person answering the company phone did not identify herself or the company. When I asked if this was Purity Medical she said "whoopsie hehe, I answered the phone wrong. Yes, this is Purity medical." I asked her to remove our name and number from their list and she assured me she would do so. I asked for her name and she said I didn't need it and hung up.
This is the third such call I have received from this company since December.
