In February of I sold Rebecca Adaway a beautiful blue-cream lynx point girl in top show condition for her breeding program. She told me that she wants to breed and show her at CFA. I never sold my kittens to a breeder, but the girl was so good that I wanted her to be shown and have kittens. She signed contract with me and promised to give her great forever home. 2.5 month latter I got email from her It is with a sad heart that I must tell you I am closing down my cattery. I have been to the ER twice in the past 6 months and now have to use an inhaler because of my allergies to the cats.
She asked me if I want her to place my girl in a breeder home or pet home. I reminded her about contract and under my contract: The NEW OWNER understands that if they ever find themselves in a position where they no longer can keep their cat/kitten, or if the breeder finds out that this cat is being maltreated, the Breeder either take the kitten/cat back or help in placing it in a new home! Should this situation occur, the breeder will not provide a refund for the cat.
