I wasted three months trying to work my butt off to get into management. I never made more than $200 a week. I am highly educated and I was looking for marketing exprience to start my career. All I learned was how to manipulate and con people into thinking fake things were true. I commuted so much that I almost fell asleep behind the wheel. A terrible rash caused by stress finally shook me out of the brainwashing and made me realize what this job was doing not only to my wallet, but my body.
Think about straight commisson you are forced to share with "new guys", no gas money, no compensation for mileage, walking miles a day, 12 hour days, constant contact with you team... The list of stress goes on and on. Juice my ass, if you do work at an "affliated branch", please quit. I even read these reports and stayed for a bit after. There is a reason that no negativity is allowed in atmosphere... Not because you learn better with positive vibes, but because it is the truth... The job sucks and no one is making money.
I stayed that long cause i did like the people in my office. I felt like they were family, it was all a lie. Two weeks later and i keep in touch with noone. If you have no soul, go ahead be a VP. If you are a normal person who has a life... QUIT NOW!!! I can't stress that enough, it will never be what it seems. "the business" uses people, cut and dry.
