I have never been so outraged at a company's practice to keep someone else's hard working money. We had all intentions on buying the home but our lender who was under FTX failed to qualify us and let us know prior to our closing day. They waited until the home was completed and it was our closing day to let us know.
IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST before you go searching for a home to buy find a trusted lender & then sign a contract on a home you know you can buy for sure. I wish these companies would put the earnest monies down in order for buyers to trust them. The bad part is I read this website and thought "no they wouldn't do such a thing". So wrong
