Home Relief Services (HRS) handled my loan modification and charged me $2500. My loan modification was denied and per HRS refund policy, we are entitled to get a refund of all "service fees" received by HRS from us (less processing fee of $495) if unable to get the loan modified. Recently, I was informed that HRS merged with Diener Law Group and from that merge, refund process could take longer.
I faxed/emailed my refund letter to Amanda Penny (negotiator) and Stefano (owner of Home Relief Services) on May 7 but never heard from them. Now there is no way for me to get a hold of them because no one is aswering their phone and their machine wont take any messages. They will not reply to my emails as well...
Im still waiting to hear from them as to the status of my refund of $2000.
