My experience starting like everyone else. I ordered a free trial of Resveratrol and paid only the shipping cost on 06/03/09. Also, they were selling Berry Cleanse with the same 'pay for shipping' offer. So I decided to try that as well.
Shortly after ordering, I received an email from ResVLife with the terms: If you do nothing you will billed every month for $69.18 for Resveratrol. I immediately emailed them back on 06/07/09 and told them to cancel my enrollment. I really don't remember seeing those terms anywhere on the website, but that's beside the point.
On 6/22/09, ResVLife charged my debit card for $69.18. But that wasn't all. BerryCleanse.com also put a charge on for $78.53. I was unaware that BerryCleanse was a different company all together.
I called ResVLife and they agreed to give me my money back and cancel my 'membership'. They appeared to be having some 'hiring problems', but took care of my problem pretty quickly. However, they sold me BerryCleanse through the ResVLife website, but they don't tell you that they aren't responsible for any membership that comes with that product.
So I had to call BerryCleanse.com myself to straighten that charge. What a hassle. First of all their phone quality and heavy accents makes it almost impossible to understand the customer service person I spoke to. After awhile, I finally got them to cancel my membership, but they wanted to offer me a credit for their website instead of refund. What? Why would I do business with someone who never informed me of their terms and conditions? If you are selling your product through another website, then you should follow their terms and conditions. And when I cancel through them, the other should cancel as well. After over 30 minutes on the phone, they finally agreed to give me a full refund. I think. Like I said, their phone quality and heavy accents make me wonder whether my account will post a credit.
I'm just amazed that people would actually run their business in such a manner and risk negative publicity. If I don't receive my refunds within five business days, like they said they would, then this might not be the only time you'll hear from me.
