Total scam, nothing to do with sports and is just a sales job with little pay

I'm a recent graduate and got called in for an interview with Executive Sports. The 1st meeting was about 10 minutes long and was my first job interview so I wasn't too sure what to ask. The job was described as public relations with ALL these different professional sports teams.

Then they make you believe that 20 people applied and you were one of the final 3 people that they want for a 2nd interview. The 2nd interview is a job shadow in which I walked all over downtown Wheeling WV, watching these workers try to sell coupons for oil changes at a local auto services place.

This job shadow was very embarrassing because I followed them as they tried to sell these coupons to people I knew from the area.

The most embarrassing part was when they walked into a store that creates tombstones and other burial needs and they attempted to sell oil changes to the workers and a grieving family.

We then sat in a parking lot near a store in Monroeville and watched a couple make out, then one of the sellers went to them to intervene and sell these oil changing coupons.

After this ordeal, they gave me the answers to a questionnaire to fill out for the job, then had me answer the questionnaire and tried to hire me. I declined and learned my lesson about this sales job.

The worst part of this is that the people believe that they will succeed very much. They are brainwashed into believing that they'll make 150,000$ within a year. But you start off as a trainee, making 40$ a day. Which when calculated is 4.50$ an hour. But they will tell you that the training takes 3 days, but the one trainee that was on the trip has been training for 4 weeks. Then you get moved up to 80$ a day.

There are no health benefits, no refunds for gas, and if you don't sell an unbelievable amount of coupons, then you lose money with driving to places like Wheeling West Virginia and back.

Some more events of the day&

When arriving back, one of the managers (who was white) stated "n*a gettin paid"

Also, when I sat in the lobby the receptionist was calling up more college grads telling them that they were one of the three finalists for a 2nd interview. Another wave of lies on a new set of interviewees.
