Aurora Loan Service managed to ruin my credit. Lie, and pass the buck. But most importantly disrupt my life and sanity. EXCUSE* my mentally handicapped brother was killed in a group home. We were not prepared to give him a funeral. We had no choice to use our mortgage payment to do so. A month later we received notice that they were starting the foreclosure proceedings. We called Aurora where we were informed that we could do a home retention. We made three rediculious payments via bank wire. Then we did as we were told and requested loan modification. Then the nightmare began. Waiting on hold hours at a time to be told, we didnt receive your paperwork, or Fax. We called explaining ok. We can make a payment or two. This is getting to far behind. "no, no. It will mess up our negotiation. Are you kidding us* then we were told to wait 8 weeks. We did, then wouldnt you know it. They didnt get the last 184 page fax we sent. (104) then 80. So anyways. We REFAXED everything. I received a message 4 days later stating to return their call. NOTHING ELSE! I called sat on hold for 147 minutes to be told I was denied loan modification. The gentlemans name was DJ. He was now dealing with an emotional woman. Crying. I cant lose my home. Because he nicely told me after all the waiting, I had 24 hours to come up with the arrearages. THAT THEY HAD PROMISED TO PUT ON THE BACK OF MY MORTGAGE! This man informed me that I had 4 hours to fax in a new financial statement which showed our one man business paid some of our bills. And to call back immediately. To note the account. Because the auction sale was scheduled for in two days. WHAT!!! I jumped off the phone gathered receipts. Ect faxed in waited on hold for another 127 minutes. Where this woman informed me it was too late. They were not pushing it through to the underwriters. WHAT! She put a supervisor on the line. Where he informed me how foreclosure wasnt so bad. And that michigan has a 6th month redemption period. And what he didnt bother telling me was noone will look at you for a loan if you have the big FC on your trw. Now... On the may 5th we were denied loan modification, on May 8th we received denial in mail, debt to income ratio was the reason... (remember the man told me to fax in paperwork) that they refused... Then they said we had 14 days to dispute or 5 days prior to foreclosure sale. We called to get more information, AND YOU GUESSED IT OH SORRY THAT WAS YESTERDAY!!! We requested a review of the case. Where we received another DAMN LETTER. Stating we had 14 days... To send in more information. Oh by the way. This matter is closed because foreclosure is completed. CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT BRING IT ON SIGN MY NAME!!! Yes its not auroas fault, my mortgage was late. It was however their fault to lie, and cheat, and demand no payments... Anyone know of a private lender i need 201000 to save my home...
